Built on a cul-de-sac in an exclusive development in Boca Raton, the design for this home was generated from a need for privacy while broadening the views to the adjacent golf course and lake. Inspired by the Italian villa, the use of courtyards and garden walls allowed us to maximize the outdoor living space. An entrance courtyard beyond an elegant wrought iron gate opens the front of the house to plenty of sunlight while limiting the windows along the sides where privacy was a concern. Garden walls protect either side of the rear yard but leave the view from the main living spaces unobstructed.
